Hey, you’re not supposed to drive there!

Working for the Department of Transportation is a thankless job. Not only are people angry at you all the time for road closures that aren’t even your fault, but you’re constantly at odds with all the drivers who want to kill you.

Here, a New York State DoT worker was simply doing his job when someone in a rental box truck saw him and made a direct line toward him, effectively aerosolizing his vehicle.

So next time you see a DoT worker, make sure to give them a thank you — or at the very least, don’t hit them with your car.
